The library is a SNAP center in partnership with the Peninsula WorkLink Center. We offer classes on the Virginia Workforce website and give assistance with your job searching needs.
The library has many resources on job searching, resumes, and interviewing.

These interactive online courses take you through the career search process from job assessment, resumes/cover letters, interviewing, and success on the job. Also included are licensing/certification practice tests on a wide variety of careers: Military (ASVAB), CDL, EMS, Firefighter, Nursing, Real Estate, Cosmetology, Teacher Certification (Praxis, CBEST), Law Enforcement, and Civil Service. Now includes E-books for more comprehensive study options. Enter in your library card number as your user ID.
