11th Annual Poetry Contest

April is National Poetry Month and your library is celebrating with this Teen Advisory Board sponsored contest. All ages, kindergarten through adult, may submit one unsigned, original poem. Entry forms will be available on our website and at the Circulation Desk beginning Monday, March 1st.

Your submission and entry form are due by 9:00 PM on Thursday, April 1st.

Awards will be presented on Sunday, May 2nd at 3:00 PM. A reception to honor our poets will follow.

Tween readers, do you sometimes feel like you’re caught in the middle? You’ve read all the children’s books, but aren’t quite ready for the grown-up ones? Join us for this NEW Book Club created just for you. We’ll start with 2 books that have been made into movies.
