Lisa Zeigler from the Gardeners’ Workshop will show you how having a small flower bed as a cutting garden is the first step to a season filled with gorgeous flowers! Learn easy soil preparation, flower selection, organic gardening methods, and harvesting practices to have your garden producing a bounty of beautiful flowers.

Wiley and Carole Waters of Waters Rose Care Service will be here to show you how to grow beautiful roses in your yard. Topics include how to establish a garden, select the best varieties for our climate, pruning, fertilizing, watering, spraying, and care during the fall and winter.

Watercraft Safety Course
Saturday, March 24th, 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM

PPL is again hosting this Safe Boating and Jet-Ski Course, presented by the Coast Guard Auxiliary. Upon completion of this class, students will receive certification that they have met the state’s boating education law. Class is limited to 22 students.
