NEW THIS YEAR! Our adult summer reading program has gone online! Register for our Master the Art of Reading program and then submit reviews and read reviews from other patrons. Click HERE for the online summer reading page.
If you prefer not to register online, you can still pick up paper review forms at the library and submit them at the circulation desk.
Each time you provide a review you will earn a free book! Your reviews also enter you into our weekly prize drawings and our end of the summer grand prize drawing. The more books you read and review, the more chances you have to win!

Find out some cool facts about postage stamps. Then imagine how great it would be to mail a letter using your personal design. You create - library patrons vote - the winner and runner up will receive a sheet of real postage stamps to add a unique touch to that special card or letter. 2nd - 5th graders, preregister online or at the Circulation Desk.

Rev your engines! Get your game on! The library has Wii sports, Mario, DDR, Guitar Hero, Twister, & board games galore! Teens, preregister online or @ the Circulation Desk.
David Baldacci @ your library
David Baldacci, the number one New York Times bestselling novelist, will speak at Thomas Nelson Community College on Thursday, October 15. He'll share humorous tales of his experiences in researching and writing his novels. Free tickets for the author talk, question and answer session, and book signing with Mr. Baldacci are available beginning September 15 at Poquoson Public Library. Tickets will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis and limited to two per person while supplies last.

This cultural event is sponsored by the Virginia Peninsula Literacy Consortium, which consists of 7 public and academic libraries on the Virginia peninsula.
